Le Thin White Duke livre ses conseils de lecture, et, comme pour la musique, il ne fait pas les choses à moitié : ce sont ainsi 100 titres qui ont été listés par Bowie, à l'occasion d'une exposition, « David Bowie Is », à la Art Gallery of Ontario. En vrac, on retrouvera Mishima, Orwell, James Baldwin ou Angela Carter, pour une sélection plutôt contemporaine.
