Faisant suite au deux précédents ouvrages What The Fuck ! et What The Mega Fuck ! aux éditions le Monte-en-l'air en 2020, ce 3e opus de la collection WTF réunit des photographies en provenance du monde entier, collectées au fil de pérégrinations sur la Toile. Sur les réseaux sociaux et les sites Internet dont sont issues ces photographies, l'acronyme "WTF" précède souvent un contenu pour signifier l'effarement qu'il provoque. Cette interjection exprime autant l'incompréhension que le malaise du "voyeur" face à ces images. Leur accumulation souligne la course folle au partage de contenus "extra-ordinaires" pour un public anesthésié et pose la question de la dilution du sens de la photographie à l'aube du XXI ème siècle. Ces images incongrues sont vues par des millions d'internautes à un instant T, mais disparaissent définitivement au bout de quelques semaines. En éditant ces images dématérialisées et en les réunissant dans des ouvrages imprimés, la maison d'éditions Innocences s'approprie ces clichés et pose un acte de résistance face à la course à l'infini du Web. Epilepsy: the invisible pain
They say life is a long stretch of a calm river, but not for everyone ! She was for me until the day when everything rocked, the day my destiny was changed dramatically. People do not realize how life can be so sweet and so beautiful. They complain all day long for trivialities. They are not even aware that they have before their eyes the most beautiful wealth : the luck and happiness of living in good health. I was rich before. Now I am poor because my child has an incurable disease, that has currently no hope of being healed. As a parent, how can we accept that ? , How to continue living carrying the bundle of pain in my head ? , How to overcome this feeling of helplessness ? When I started speaking to my heart, I didn't know myself that this was the beginning of a new life : a rebirth as a poet. When I learnt that my 7-year-old daughter was suffering from the Dravet Syndrome, a rare genetic epileptic encephalopathy, this was like an earthquake in my life. Then, I needed to write in order to express my sorrow and my pain. Words and rhymes came naturally to my mind. This was obvious that poetry would be my survival weapon.

Although Mme de Lafayette is acknowledged as the founder of the modern novel, her precise legacy has been understood only in relation to male-authored texts. However, she wrote as a woman, addressing issues that concerned women of her day, particularly the problem of the apparent incompatibility of sexual fulfilment and the institution of marriage. This study seeks to identify how La Princesse de Clèves was interpreted by three of Mme de Lafayette's most talented women successors and to show how their more sombre and subversive view of society was mediated in works of fiction which have strong affinities with the contes de fées for which they are well known. The novels of Mlle Bernard, Mme d'Aulnoy and Mlle de La Force are significant, not simply for what they tell us about themselves as women writers but also for what they reveal about the origins of the eighteenth-century novel.

Conjugal Love and the Ends of Marriage
The importance of conjugal love in marriage, allegedly overlooked by pre-conciliar marriage doctrine, is strikingly emphasized by present-day Catholic Church documents. The stable incorporation of conjugal love into Catholic marriage doctrine finds its roots in the Second Vatican Council's Pastoral Constitution of the Church in the modern world, Gaudium et spes. During the elaboration of the chapter on marriage and the family in Gaudium et spes, it was observed that its third conciliar draft, textus recognitus, contained ideas which are similar to what Dietrich von Hildebrand and Herbert Doms had pronounced during the 1930s. Some theologians and canonists, in fact, have opined that these authors paved the way for the personalist treatment of marriage in this century by underlining the importance of conjugal love. Others have even asserted that the Gaudium et spes doctrine on marriage is the confirmation of Doms's thought. What accounts for the shift towards an emphasis on conjugal love in the theological presentation of marriage ? What did these two authors understand by it and how did they articulate the matrimonial ends ? How were their ideas received by the theologians and by the Church ? To what extent and in what ways are their ideas reflected in the conciliar document ? This book probes these questions which are fundamental to understanding the evolution of the Catholic doctrinal presentation of marriage.

Activation Policies for the Unemployed, the Right to Work and the Duty to Work
Since the 1990s and the 2000s, Western social protection systems have experienced a turn towards activation. This turn consists of the multiplication of measures aimed at bringing those who are unemployed closer to participation in the labour market. These measures often induce a strengthening of the conditions that must be met in order to receive social benefits. It is in this well known context that the authors gathered in this book decided to take a closer look at the relationship between activation policies for the unemployed and the right and the duty to work. If activation measures are likely to increase transitions towards the labour market, we can also make the assumption that they may, particularly when they are marked with the seal of coercion, hinder or dramatically reduce the right to freely chosen work. In such circumstances, the realisation of the "right to work", which is often stated to be the aim of those who promote activation, tends in practice to be reduced to an increasing pressure being exerted on the unemployed. In this case, isn't it actually the duty to work that is particularly reinforced ? After an historical and philosophical perspective on the issue, this assumption is confronted with the developments observed in the United States and in France, and then with the guidelines laid down in international human rights instruments. What follows is a discussion of two alternatives to the dominant activation model : the basic income guarantee and the employment guarantee.

Hybrid or fully online ? Synchronous or asynchronous ? Unimodal, bimodal, comodal or multimodal ? The all-out development of distance learning has led to the creation of appropriate digital systems, either by using what was already in place (such as video conferencing classrooms and web conferencing software supporting virtual classrooms) or introducing innovative environments (such as immersive telepresence classrooms). To use these versatile, multi-functional technologies, teachers need to take a step back to enable them to adapt their teaching methods and offer learners a suitable environment that overcomes physical and geographical distances. As for students, the need to "be there" and "be together" while learning remotely has to be taken into account to maintain their commitment and ensure they continue to contribute, despite the fact they are apart. The COVID-19 pandemic has shown us the importance of the professional, collegial and friendship connections we have with those we usually meet face-to-face in a traditional classroom. Telepresence systems enable all these people to come together remotely (and synchronously) and make it possible to use active teaching methods, driven by the self-regulation of the learners. But what is telepresence ? Do teachers need any special training ? How do you attend lessons remotely ? How do participants learn in a telepresence setting ? What type of student assessment can be used in such an environment ? The result of international collaboration, this short guide looks at these questions from both a research and a practical perspective, inviting you to explore telepresence teaching and learning.

Personne ne sait pourquoi ma soeur a tué Griffin Tomlin. Personne sauf moi. Moi, je sais très bien ce qui s'est passé. Emily ne détestait pas Griffin. Ou plutôt, elle ne l'avait pas toujours détesté. Mais, par ma faute, elle s'était mise à le haïr. Parce que je lui avais raconté une histoire que je n'aurais jamais dû lui avouer. A partir de là, tout est parti en vrille. Et Griffin est mort.

Trois lieux, trois personnages, trois destins. Un point commun : la bière Buck, symbole de la consommation planétaire des mêmes produits. Tous égaux devant le produit. Mais l'égalité s'arrête là. Ainsi des trois protagonistes de cet ouvrage. Paco, le premier, est un jeune des bidonvilles de Mexico, tiraillé entre la pauvreté, un travail désespérant et les mauvais plans d'un de ses cousins ; Paul, le second, coincé dans l'hiver new-yorkais est un français en rupture de société et testant ses propres limites, aux portes de la clochardisation ; Pierre, le dernier, parisien temporaire, livré à lui-même pendant quelques jours et ressassant de vieux souvenirs en attendant le retour de sa compagne. Ponctuant chaque scène, l'omniprésence de la bière Buck nous fais glisser d'un quotidien à un autre et nous suivons les destins croisés des trois personnages, chacun nous faisant relativiser les actions et les situations dans lesquelles se trouvent les deux autres.
